OutfitOne is operated by [Your corporation’s legal name] (operating as OutfitOne), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you use the OutfitOne app, why, and the choices you have. Last updated November 8, 2026.
What we collect
Account details: your email address, a username and a password (stored encrypted by our database provider — we never see it).
Location (city level only): with your permission we read your phone’s location once to find your city, or you pick your city by hand. We save your country, city, province/state and the centre point of that city. We do not store your exact position and we do not track you in the background.
Outfit photos and captions you post, the style you choose and who you want to rate them.
Opinions you give: your verdict (fits / not it), optional 1–10 rating, tags and comments, and the country they came from.
Activity needed to run the app: shot balance, streaks, reports and blocks.
Basic technical data our providers log automatically (e.g. IP address, device type, crash logs) to keep the service secure and working.
How we use it
To run OutfitOne: show your outfits to other members, deliver opinions, count shots, and unlock cities and countries.
To show your outfits to people in the place you choose and to show where your opinions came from on the globe.
To keep the community safe: review reports, block abusive accounts and filter abusive language.
To contact you about your account or important changes. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
What other members see
Your username, city and country, and the outfits you post (to the audience you choose).
Opinions are anonymous: the person you rate sees your opinion and your country, but not your username.
Service providers
Supabase (database, login and photo storage), Expo (app delivery and updates) and OpenFreeMap / OpenStreetMap (map tiles shown on the globe). They process data only to provide their services to us. Data may be stored or processed outside Canada, including in the United States.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete an outfit, its photo and opinions are deleted. When you delete your account, your profile, outfits, photos and the opinions you gave are permanently deleted; backups are overwritten within about 30 days.
Your choices and rights
You can edit your city, delete outfits, block people and delete your account at any time in the app (Me → Settings → Delete account).
You can turn off location access in your phone’s settings and choose your city by hand instead.
You can ask to access or correct your information, or ask a question about privacy, by emailing support@outfitone.app. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Children
OutfitOne is not for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email support@outfitone.app and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
